“When I look at Washington today, I'm disappointed and disturbed. There's no decency, no treating others with respect, and little humility to be found. Our ‘leaders’ in the Capitol point fingers rather than resolving to get things done.
I was always taught that when you see a problem, you do whatever you can to solve it. And I grew up learning the importance of working together, and the value of public service.
That's why I'm running for Congress. As long as I can count on all of you to fight beside me, I am confident we will win this race and change the way things are done in Washington.”
