Josh Harder is a fifth-generation resident of California’s Central Valley. Josh credits his parents with his lifelong commitment to public service and inspiration to run for Congress, citing their example as volunteers and small business owners in the local community and abroad.
On scholarship from the local Rotary Club and American Legion, Josh studied Political Science and Economics at Stanford University. Josh also holds a joint MBA/MPP from the Harvard Business and Kennedy Schools.
Josh has used his education and experience to organize small farmers in Kenya and Uganda, to consult with small businesses to help them grow and create jobs, and now seeks to represent the people of the 10th District. Josh’s priorities include economic growth, fair and humane immigration reform, protecting and investing in quality public education, and building a sustainable solution to the Central Valley’s water crisis.
